First published in the 1930s, The Alphabet Quilt was part of the Nancy Page quilt club. Now in the public domain, it remains a popular quilt to make for a special little one. Written by Florence Laganke, with all illustrations by Ann Kerven, our program gives you the patterns in four sizes (9", 6", 4.5" and 3" blocks), so you can choose the size you like best. Each month, you receive the fabric you need to create two of the alphabet blocks featured. You also receive the minutes of the Nancy Page Club that appeared with each block in the original series. A Finishing Kit to turn it into a gorgeous quilt is available at the end of the program. Designed by Jane Davis, this block of the month program features 12 beautiful basket blocks feature appliqued designs. Suitable for both traditional or fusible web applique methods, each block kit in this series contains everything you need to make an 18" quilt block of a basket full of flowers. Reminiscent of traditional applique samplers from the 19th Century, our Memories of Old Oregon Block of the Month commemorates early Oregon landmarks and towns. There are 24 applique patterns, in the traditional 19th century colors of red and green, each of which can be made using traditional or fusible web applique. Each month, you receive the pattern and fabric needed to create one 12" quilt block, plus a mini-history about the town or landmark for which it was named. Adapted from a Depression Era crib quilt, Playtime Pals features delightful embroidered animals surrounded by bright 1930s-style fabrics. Each month for the first eight months, you receive the fabric, iron-on transfer pattern, and floss needed to create an embroidered block, plus the fabric that surrounds it. During the ninth month, you receive the fabric you need to finish the quilt top (triangles and border), plus fabric for the binding. Backing is available for purchase if requested. This block of the month quilt takes you back to a delightful boyhood summer spent on the farm. Inspired by a trip to her husband’s childhood home, designer Roxy Burgard created 14 individual 12" quilt blocks depicting a variety of scenes around the farm. A large center panel features the barn with a fence, silo and sun. The quilt can be made using traditional or fusible web applique. Fourteen monthly kits contain the fabric you need to make a quilt block. The Middle Panel Kit is sent in the 15th month, and the Finishing Kit of Sashing, Borders, and Binding is sent in the 16th month. Completed of the quilt is  72" x 90".
