Adapted from a Depression Era crib quilt, Playtime Pals features delightful embroidered animals surrounded by bright 1930s-style fabrics. Summertime at Grandma's! What fun can be had taking a trip to Grandma's House when the sun is shining and the flowers in her garden are blooming. This Calico Hills Farm pattern, along with all the fabric to create it, was originally created by Roxy Burgard. Re-imagined by Becky Lindquist. Kit contains the fabric and pattern to create our Row. Roxy sold Calico Hills Farm to Grandma's Attic years ago. We continue her legacy with this gorgeous row. (Roxy Burgard--Quilter, Gardener, Friend (1947-2020). Row is 9" x 36".

As soon as we heard that this year's Row by Row theme was Sew a Season, seamstress and quilt-maker Becky Lindquist knew what that she wanted to create a row that representing all four seasons of the year. The result is The Four Seasons, four panels representing Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall that combine to create our  row. Using ombre fabrics (changes color from selvedge to selvedge) for the background, it looks like you spent more time making it than it actually takes to make. We love our 2024 Row and hope you will too! Row is 9" x 36".

Created as a tribute to Quilt Designer Roxy Burgard, Teacher's Pet consists of four of Roxy's nine inch quilt blocks--Scottie Dog, Cherries, Happy Home, and Sister's Choice. Each pattern was designed by Roxy as part of her Calico Hills Farm pattern company--a pattern company now owned by Grandma's Attic. Although Roxy died of Covid in March 2020, her spirit lives on through her beautiful patterns. This kit contains the fabric to make the patterns shown on the cover.
