From Grandma's Penny Saver Embroidery Patterns, Basket of Flowers #4 was part of the Language of Flowers Block of the Month Club. The pattern dates to the 1890s and can be created with the outline stitch. We used DMC #498 Red or DMC #797 Blue embroidery floss to embroider this block; however, this pattern would look great in any embroidery floss you care to use. This pattern consists of one full-size embroidery pattern that can be embroidered onto a 10" or 12" muslin block.
