Japanese Quilts

Some of the most fascinating and beautiful quilts in the world today are being made in Japan.  Interestingly enough, the tremendous popularity of quilting there can be traced back to a famous collection of American quilts that toured major Japanese cities in 1976.  Japanese women took up their needles and started to reproduce what they had seen.
