Towns and Founders

Continuing our series on the Stories of Old Oregon, this block of the month focuses on the fascinating history of how many of the towns in Oregon were founded--how they got their names, their early history, prominent citizens of the day, and beginnings of each town’s commerce and industry. Each month, you’ll receive two 12" quilt blocks featuring 19th century era fabrics in browns and reds. At year’s end, you will have 24 blocks--enough to make a queen-sized quilt! An informational newsletter and other handouts are also included. A Finishing Kit to turn it into a gorgeous quilt is available at the end of the program. Completed quilt measures approximately 71" x 99". Shipping is included in the price of the monthly blocks.
