This quilt couldn't be scrappier! Our Towns and Founders 7 Club continues our series from the Stories of Old Oregon, focusing on towns and founders within the state of Oregon. This year's towns have a varied history with most being incorporated in the late 1890s. You'll learn about the fascinating history of how towns got their names, prominent citizens of the day, and the beginnings of each town's commerce and industry. There are 16 blocks in this program, plus a border (not shown in this image).
Join our Store Manager Amber as we challenge her to create this beautiful quilt. Filled with hand-dyed batik fabrics in beautiful pink, coral and blue, there are 12 blocks in this series. A finishing kit can be obtained at club's end. You'll gain confidence as you build your quilting skills! Patterns are easy to follow with color photos. Two ways to join: pick up in store or mail to you...just click on the option you want! This is a great bargain!
What a cutie! You’ll love embroidering this classic basket wall quilt. Straight out of the 1920s, it may be tiny, but it’s packed with embroidery stitches! By PAB Designs, the stitches are easy to complete, including outline, lazy daisy, and French knot. Each month you will receive the fabric and floss you need to construct one 6" square basket block. Finished quilt is 16" x 22.
Grandma's Gab Sheet keeps you updated on events at Grandma's Attic,
